Online Courses Now Open to All (grades 6-12) The Kentucky Migrant Technology Project's 28 online courses are now open and free for everyone to use. They can be seen at www.migrant.org These free courses cover grades 6-12 in the content areas of Math, Social Studies, Art & Humanities, English, Science, and Vocational/Practical Living. We also have five courses translated into Spanish with more to come. We are building a solution to translate the websites referenced in the Spanish courses and should have something available in 4-8 weeks. All the courses can be used in many different ways such as supplemental instruction, remediation, independent learning, and others. Teachers can use them for classroom lessons and daily class activities. Students will require some support when using this content. These courses are still in the very early stages of development and will continually change and evolve. We would appreciate your comments and feedback. We also ask that you pass this information on to colleagues, friends, and fellow educators.
