| Handwriting Recognition For Internet-Connected Device ParaGraph has announced NetCalif client/server Natural Handwriting Recognition Kit. Employing the CalliGrapher(r) natural handwriting recognition technology on Internet and Intranet servers, NetCalif allows OEM's and service providers to instantly deliver natural handwriting recognition capabilities to any pen-enabled and Internet-connected appliance. The user's natural handwriting - cursive, print, or a combination of both - is captured by a compact client software, then transmitted from the Internet-connected device to the NetCalif servers where it is converted and returned as typewritten text to the device. The entire process is instantaneous and transparent to the user. The NetCalif service can be used by a broad range of devices including palm- and handheld-sized devices, smart phones, Web tablets or any other "thin client" products.
